About Pakkepost
Pakkepost, a logistics and last-mile delivery provider, partnered with us to build a custom Shopify app that seamlessly integrates their shipping services into merchants’ storefronts. The project focused on enabling dynamic shipping rates, pickup point selection, automated order handoff, and scalable multi-store support.

- Merchants lacked clear visibility into fulfillment progress beyond basic status updates.
- Bulk order processing was slow, forcing merchants to handle shipments one by one.
- Deploy across multiple stores and platforms with minimal support friction
Solutions Provided
- Integrated CarrierService API to return dynamic, real-time rates from Pakkepost
- Built a checkout selector that saves chosen pickup points into Shopify order metafields
- Created Admin UI extensions with status badges (Pending → Sent → In-Transit → Delivered)
- Added bulk action tools in the Orders index to send multiple orders to Pakkepost at once
- Designed per-shop API credential & settings management to ensure scalability
